“Tech Pioneers” Sentient Featured in The West

Leading virtual reality, augmented reality and training developer Sentient Computing was recently featured in an article by The West Australian covering the recent developments of technology in the mining training space.

When asked about the recent developments in virtual training for the mining industry and adapting to modern training methods to suit a younger workforce, Sentient Computing’s Managing Director Doug Bester was quoted as saying:

“Millennials understand virtual environments, they live in them, and being able to interact in them is very, very powerful. This is a very powerful tool to be able to train, educate, form work, plan work, maintain safety and all that. It’s the perfect tool to do that. From our company’s point of view, we’re absolutely betting the farm that this is going to continue to grow and flourish in the years to come.”
