Bringing Civmec’s Henderson Facility to IODS 2026: An Interactive 3D Capability Showcase

Civmec approached Sentient to showcase its Henderson facility and capabilities in the Marine & Defence sector.

The experience debuted at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference and Exhibition 2026, one of the region’s premier defence industry events, but was intentionally designed as a reusable business development tool for future exhibitions, client meetings and stakeholder engagement.

CHALLENGE:

Civmec’s Henderson facility is one of its greatest competitive advantages. However, for many prospective customers, visiting the site isn’t practical during the early stages of engagement. Static images, videos and presentations struggle to communicate the scale of the facility, the breadth of its capabilities, or how its location and infrastructure support complex Marine & Defence projects.

This challenge becomes even greater at industry exhibitions, where exhibitors have only a few minutes to capture attention and communicate complex capabilities. Civmec needed a more engaging way to bring its Henderson facility to customers—without requiring them to visit the site.

SOLUTION:

Sentient developed an interactive real-time 3D desktop experience that allows Civmec to bring its Henderson facility to customers wherever they are – whether on an exhibition stand, in a client meeting or during business development activities.

The experience begins with an Australia-wide overview of Civmec’s facilities, giving customers context for Civmec’s broader capabilities across Marine and Defence, Energy, Resources and Infrastructure.

From there, the experience enables users to:
